  • The 2 errors from Renault and the not good calibrated injection software are the causes of the heavy oil consumption. Till now i have few cases of engines changed because of these causes! Simpomts are similar: metallic noise at the engine and failure of the chain even if this piece is lifetime! A dangerous fact is the missing of the warning from the bord computer for missing of the pressure of the oil! Also, Duster have a bord computer led for oil level but its not connected as at other Renault models! The bad image of this true is still hidden by Renault even if in their network are identified error codes and a solution with a number! Probably they are waiting for warrancy to expire, the cost of a new engine begining from 9000€! I dont want to become expert in this engine but starting from the impressive Formula 1 technology, till now i met the worst engine ever! And my damages are still big because of this! For me is now a case name OILGATE as it was for Wv DIESELGATE!

  • Kurze Übersetzung:

    Die zwei Fehler von Renault (?) plus die nicht richtig kalibrierte Einspritzanlage haben zu einem hohen Oelverbrauch geführt der den Oelvorat aufgebraucht hat.
    Schlussentlich waren Metalspähne im Oel wegen fehlendem Oeldruck, der nicht Angezeigt wurde.
    Der Motorwechsel kostet über 9000 euro und es ist noch nicht geklärt wer was bezahlt.

    Schon recht peinlich das Renault, in diesem Fall Nissan, nach 1,5 Jahren es nicht schafft das Problem in Griff zu bekommen.
    Was wurde denn am TCe geändert wenn es nur bei einer gewissen Charge vorkommen soll. Ich glaube da nicht dran und behaupte
    das Problem besteht nach wie vor, denn sonst wäre schon längst ein Rückruf initiiert worden, um die Änderungen auch an
    den betroffenen TCe auszuführen.

    Das sehe ich auch so....aber stattdessen wird damit kalkuliert das die Garantie bei jedem Wagen irgendwann einmal endet.  /mies

  • Thats the sad part! But if a litigation is started by a group of victims they will find a solution! I have a proposal for all from here to join me in the litigation with Renault! Till its not too late!

  • Till now i have around 30 cases with similar simptoms and 2 new cases from Denmark for which i will find datas these days! Anyway, i think that this is a "global" problem for 1.2 tce engine. And they are still looking for a solution??? Of course, because the engine is expensive!

  • Let me explain better to all of you the "chain" of the causes and the effects: because of a bad injection sofware (see the 10575 solution where they recognize that its still developing an update) is going to burning of the oil much more than its ok (see the service book where its ok maximum 0.5/1000 km). The lack of the greasing of the metal pieces from the inside of the engine going to destruction of these pieces! The lack of the oil combined with metal pieces destroyed in the same time or one after another to the completely destroyed engine (only me i know more than 10 engines destroyed) and blocking of the time chain (also know cases where Dacia changed first only the time chain but not enough). The excuse of a problem with the oil pump its not correct from Dacia because that can be only an effect not the main cause! Thats why its not enough if they changed the time chain because this is also an effect! If there are doubts please tell it exactely where are doubts and why! Thank you all!
